SAfG on NBC Bay Area News

Scientific Adventures for Girls was featured in a nearly 3-minute segment on NBC Bay Area during its Climate Change Week series – showing how we’re empowering and delivering programs for young scientists through our afterschool STEM education!

Meteorologist Vianey Arana (who was a panelist for our Women Who Lead event last Fall) pitched SAfG, and our staff and students from Chavez Elementary in Richmond were filmed and interviewed. We’re proud the segment helps us spread the word about SAfG in the Bay Area  and all we’re doing!
