Trish Foschi
Trish Foschi is Professor Emerita of Geography at San Francisco State University. Courses taught by her included remote sensing (satellite image and airphoto interpretation for environmental management applications), statistics, map-making/reading, and research methods. While at SFSU, Trish received grants from NASA and CALFED to support climate change research. She served as President of the Northern California Chapter of the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. Trish holds a BS in Statistics from UC Riverside, an MA in Geography (remote sensing focus) from UC Santa Barbara, and a PhD in Geography (remote sensing focus) from the University of Oxford, UK.
Her retirement interests are making art, occasionally writing poetry, traveling, fine dining, charity work, political causes, and environmentalism. Trish has exhibited work in numerous juried and non-juried shows in California, New Mexico, and elsewhere. Her paintings are essentially abstract and sometimes incorporate satellite imagery of Earth subjects. Trish lives in Santa Fe, NM.
